When talking to Matthew, I quoted one of his favorite books, "Put me in the Zoo", by Robert Lopshire.
Me: "With all the things that you can do, the circus is the place for you."
Matthew: The circus is not the place for me. I'm a boy.
Me: What's the place for boys?
Matthew: The city.
Me: What about the country?
Matthew: Yes, the country is the place for boys too. Boys live on the earth and in America.

This precious boy has spoken great words of wisdom that he is not even aware of - what better place in the world to be a boy these days than in America!
