A few weekends ago we went alligator hunting at Brazos Bend State Park. We saw 9 gators, including this guy....
And this one...
He was the largest one we saw up close.
Not too close, of course! You can see the same big gator in the picture above behind Matthew and Steve. We were fortunate that he was resting near this bridge.We also found some time to climb trees...
And visit the nature center. 
Jackson loved this racoon. I came walking around the corner of the nature center and he was sitting there with his arm around the racoon saying "Doggie".
